Data Quality Analyst - SaaS Applications

zvelo is seeking a data quality analyst to help ensure the highest of data quality standards across our SaaS App Intelligence offerings.
Role Overview
The Data Quality Analyst - SaaS Applications role is responsible for ensuring that SaaS Application information, metadata, features, hosts, aliases, and related records are accurate, complete, and consistently maintained. The ideal candidate is meticulous, organized, and capable of performing data verification, research, categorization, and quality checks across large datasets.
Key Responsibilities- Review, validate, and update SaaS Application data and metadata within the platform
- Perform data collection, categorization, and maintenance for SaaS applications and related entities
- Verify application features, hosts, aliases, documented API endpoints, URLs, and other associated records
- Review official application documentation (developer portals, API references, OpenAPI/Swagger specs, integration guides) to identify and curate documented API, endpoints, request methods, and associated metadata for each SaaS application.
- Identify and correct data inconsistencies, duplicates, missing information, and inaccurate records
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to maintain data accuracy and consistency
- Assist in onboarding and importing new SaaS Application data into the system
- Ensure proper tagging, categorization, and organization of SaaS applications
- Maintain documentation and tracking reports for completed updates and validations
- Collaborate with internal teams to clarify application information and resolve data- related issues
- Revisit previously reviewed applications when new features, requirements, or standards are introduced
- Support ongoing improvements to data quality processes and reporting workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
- Strong understanding of SaaS Application architectures and common data workflows
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Good research and verification skills
- Ability to review and manage large volumes of data efficiently
- Basic understanding of URLs, domains, hosts, endpoints, and application metadata
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to follow processes and maintain consistency across datasets
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and data tracking tools
- Experience in data entry, data curation, data quality assurance, or content moderation
- Familiarity with SaaS ecosystems and application categorization
- Experience working with internal portals, CMS platforms, or database tools
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, web services, or application infrastructure is a plus
- Experience handling large-scale metadata updates or validation tasks
- Accuracy and completeness of SaaS Application records
- Number of validated and updated applications completed
- Reduction in duplicate, inconsistent, or incomplete records
- Timeliness of data updates and validation tasks
- Consistency in feature, host, and metadata verification
- Quality and completeness of weekly tracking and reporting
