About the role
Procurement Representative to join our team in Binan City, Laguna. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our procurement function, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, goods and services necessary for our manufacturing and logistics operations.This is a contract position with the potential for extension based on performance.
What you'll be doing- Assist in the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and other supplies to support production and operations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and facilitate the procurement process
- Conduct market research, evaluate supplier capabilities, and negotiate favorable contract terms
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and databases
- Monitor and report on procurement activities, identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
- Provide support for inventory management, including stock monitoring and replenishment
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools, such as SAP/ERP systems
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
- Familiarity with Philippine procurement regulations and guidelines
