A Demi Chef de Partie assists the Chef de Partie in the daily operations of a designated kitchen section. This role is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes while maintaining food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.The Demi Chef de Partie ensures efficient kitchen operations and contributes to delivering exceptional dining experiences for guests.
Qualifications/Requirements- Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a hotel, resort, or full-service restaurant.
- Experience as a Commis Chef or similar position is an advantage.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, food preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment.
- Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Team-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules.
