About the Role

We're looking for a Software Engineer who can thrive in both worlds: stabilizing complex, business‑critical legacy systems while accelerating delivery through AI‑assisted development. You'll design, evolve, and maintain applications across a mixed technology stack, embracing a future where most code is generated, reviewed, and iterated in partnership with AI.

This is not a greenfield‑only role—you'll work on real, revenue‑critical systems while progressively modernizing them with cloud‑first and AI‑enabled approaches.

• Use AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and test creation
• Develop and maintain applications in C#, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL Server, and related technologies
• Improve stability, maintainability, and observability of large, existing codebases
• Incrementally modernize legacy systems toward cloud‑native and service‑oriented architectures
• Translate business requirements into scalable, cost‑efficient technical solutions
• Partner with Product, QA, and Customer Success to deliver high‑impact features
• Validate AI‑generated code for correctness, edge cases, and long‑term maintainability
• Ensure strong test coverage and participate in code reviews focused on system integrity

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise or SaaS software development
• Strong fundamentals in C#, .NET, SQL Server, and object‑oriented design
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and system integrations
• Familiarity with Angular (6+) and modern frontend patterns
• Experience working in legacy systems and incrementally modernizing them
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Agile delivery
• Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and secure coding practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with US Insurance - Property and Casualty (P&C)

• Experience in enterprise SaaS environments
• Background in cloud‑native architectures and modernization projects
• Comfort generating a majority of code through AI tools while validating outputs

• You'll work on real, revenue‑critical systems—not just greenfield projects
• You'll help define how AI transforms software engineering in practice
• You'll shift from writing code to engineering systems with AI
• You'll be part of a team actively evolving its development model

• Open to working night shifts
• Hybrid schedule: 2 days per week onsite
• Willing to report onsite in Makati
