About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Accounting and Finance Officer to join our team at Gencore Construction Corp. in Angeles City Pampanga. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
What you'll be doing- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with the finance team to provide financial analysis and support for business decisions
- Process and record payments, invoices, and other financial transactions
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Provide support for auditing and tax-related activities
- Participate in the implementation of financial systems and process improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
