Business analyst

Job Description

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through meetings, interviews, workshops, and research.
• Translate business needs into clear and detailed functional and technical requirements.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), User Stories, Use Cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Act as the liaison between business users and the software development team.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Assist in solution design by ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into system functionality.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, coordinating with end-users, and validating system functionality.
• Monitor project progress and help resolve requirement-related issues.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with clients and internal teams.
• Provide documentation, user guides, and training materials when necessary.
• Ensure project deliverables meet business objectives and quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2–5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role.
