What you'll be doing- Identifying and qualifying potential customers for our construction products and services
- Developing and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
- Presenting our offerings to clients in a compelling and persuasive manner
- Negotiating contracts and closing sales transactions
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing any client concerns or queries
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotional campaigns
- Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably within the construction and structural steel fabrication industry
- Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience is required for this position
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in using sales tools and technologies to streamline and optimise the sales process
- Highly motivated and driven, with a passion for achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to engage in fieldwork activities for more than 75% of work time
