Job Goal
Responsible for the performance of a portfolio of Sales Channels. The Account Manager will act as the point of contact for all business related of the specified accounts. Working closely with all internal departments impacting the business, the Account Manager will enjoy the autonomy to make the role their own, driving growth within existing or new accounts.The Account Manager will be flexible enough to handle a variety of duties.
Core activities- Manage a portfolio of sales channels – act as a point of contact between the Sales channels and all departments in vidaXL side. Serve as the main point on contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs, build, and strengthen relationships to achieve long-term partnerships with the Sales Channels, work cross-departments to develop strategic sales plans and ensure KPIs are being met. Develop and run a strategic check-in or follow-up schedule/program to assess account health and discover new business opportunities
- Improve sales performance: Analyze data from internal systems and external sources to identify opportunities to improve sales performance. Ensuring that company products are getting online on time on the sales channels and are represented accurately in sales channels, advertising, and marketing materials.
- Prepare and build presentations using sales reports – The Account Manager is responsible for preparing and delivering daily, weekly, monthly sales reports to the Team Leader.
- Understand the product creation and integration processes and work together with the Publication and Integration teams, facilitating communication between Sales Channels and vidaXL technical departments.
- Project management – The Account Manager will play a central role in coordinating demand generation activities between operations and project management teams, to reach the right targets at the right times.
- Responsible for the success of newly launched marketplaces – The account manager will work on newly launched channels, ensuring performance is met and issues are tackled.
- Assist the team leader with sales strategy implementation. This includes, but it is not limited to, developing strategic sales plans that grow brand awareness and ensure that vidaXL maintains a strong ecommerce presence within the market.
