Job Summary
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall business operations, strategic growth, and profitability of the company specializing in the distribution of medical devices and hospital consumables. The role ensures operational excellence across sales, regulatory compliance, supply chain, finance, and customer relations while driving sustainable business expansion within the healthcare industry.The General Manager will lead cross-functional teams, strengthen key client relationships, and ensure alignment with company objectives and industry standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Strategy & Leadership- Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve company growth and profitability targets.
- Lead and manage overall operations including sales, distribution, logistics, finance, and administration.
- Identify new market opportunities, product lines, and partnerships within the healthcare sector.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to support business decisions.
- Establish operational policies and ensure efficient organizational structure and workflow.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and client acquisition.

- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of medical products and consumables.

- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, FDA requirements, and industry standards.
- Maintain proper documentation, permits, licenses, and product registrations.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance and safety standards for medical products.
- Manage company budgeting, financial planning, and cost control initiatives.
- Review financial reports and ensure profitability targets are achieved.
- Approve major expenditures and monitor overall financial performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and employees.

- Oversee manpower planning, performance evaluations, and organizational development.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree is required.
- Strong background in medical devices, hospital consumables, healthcare operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in sales management, business development, and operations leadership.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations and healthcare industry standards.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
