A Maintenance Technician (Electrical) is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and continuous store or facility operations. The role includes troubleshooting electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, responding to repair requests, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.They support operational efficiency by minimizing downtime and ensuring all electrical systems are functioning properly.
Qualifications/Requirements- At least vocational diploma or technical certification in Electrical Technology or related field
- Experience in electrical maintenance or repair work is an advantage
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
- Basic understanding of safety standards and electrical codes
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills
- Physically fit and able to perform hands-on work
- Detail-oriented and safety-conscious
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call duty if needed
