Financial Reporting Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses that support management in making sound business decisions. You will also assist in audits, budgeting, and forecasting activities while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

This position plays a key part in maintaining data accuracy, identifying trends, and improving financial reporting efficiency across the organization.

• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and presentations for management and stakeholders
• Perform account analyses, reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Assist in preparing board reports, audit documents, and other management reports
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial insights with business goals
• Participate in special projects, financial modeling, and process improvement initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Business Management
• CPA certification is an advantage but not required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance or accounting, with exposure to financial reporting and analysis
• Knowledge of accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) preferred
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, standards, and reporting practices
• Advanced Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
• Excellent English communication and presentation abilities
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities independently
• Amenable to work onsite in QC (Vertis North, QC)
