Accountant

Shift: 7AM-4PM PHT
Arrangement: Onsite, Full Time

Location: Cebu

Job Description:

The Accountant will be working closely with the client to support the business and manage the following tasks:

  • Processing up to Trial Balance stage and preparing financial statements for lodgement with the Australian Taxation Office.
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts and reports
  • Undertake regular review of client's software programs to ensure accurate coding of transactions
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly Business Activity Statements for lodgement with the ATO
  • Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Offer open lines of communication between management to ensure targets are met
  • Generate income for all investments income and auto match
  • Manually match any remaining transactions ensuring to create rules for all recurring transactions
  • Reconcile GST with what's been paid to the ATO
  • Prepare individual tax returns, trust, partnership and company tax returns and End of year compliance jobs
  • Complete required tax reporting in a timely manner
  • Prepare and update tax provision schedules
  • Research and correct process errors that caused incorrect tax filings and negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues
  • Other related tasks assign

Job Qualifications:

We are looking for an A-star individual, passionate and competent with what they do and bring the WOW with the following qualifications:

  • Graduate of Accountancy or Accounting Technology; Advantage if CPA/CA licensed
  • With more than 2+ years of work experiences in accounting preferably Australian Accounting
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Attentive to details and organized
  • Good time management skills
  • Microsoft Office 365 Excel and Word
