Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial accounting and reporting for the company.

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including the preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and other key reports
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions and maintenance of the general ledger
• Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including the management of cash flow
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support to drive operational efficiency
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align financial and operational goals

• At least minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar accounting management role, preferably in the financial accounting & reporting field
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; license as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and financial reporting tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team of accounting professionals
