About the role
Join the finance team at Manila Bankers as an Accounting Supervisor. In this full-time role, you will oversee the day-to-day financial accounting and reporting for the organisation, playing a crucial part in the company's continued growth and success.This position is based in the vibrant city of Makati City, Metro Manila.
What you'll be doing- Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and other reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 4-5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in the insurance industry
- Proven track record of managing a team of accounting professionals
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
- CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred
