JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Staff is responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of machinery and equipment within the feedmill and farm facilities by conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaborating with relevant teams

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain machinery and equipment operational efficiency by conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Address equipment issues promptly by troubleshooting, repairing, or coordinating with external maintenance services when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations by conducting regular safety checks on machinery and equipment.
• Optimize equipment performance and extend lifespan by recommending and implementing improvements and upgrades.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment conditions to maintain accurate records for future reference and analysis.
• Collaborate with farm operations and manufacturing teams to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption to production schedules.
• Manage spare parts inventory by monitoring stock levels, ordering replacements, and ensuring availability for critical components.
• Guide farm and production staff on basic equipment maintenance to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of the feed mill and farm facilities to identify potential maintenance needs and address them proactively.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers and contractors to schedule and oversee major repairs or installations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

Years of Related Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in maintenance roles within manufacturing or agricultural environments.
