Team leadership and development: Recruit, train, and supervise sales representatives. Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching to help the team meet and exceed goals.Sales strategy and performance: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives. Monitor and analyze sales metrics and provide regular reports to management.
Customer relations: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by handling escalated complaints and inquiries. Maintain and build customer relationships.
Operational management: Manage daily sales operations, which can include setting work schedules, maintaining inventory, ordering merchandise, and overseeing sales records.
Reporting and analysis: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and prepare reports on team performance, sales volume, and competitive activity.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree: A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is often required.High school diploma: Some roles may accept a high school diploma, especially with extensive experience.
Experience
Sales experience: Several years in a sales role are necessary.
Supervisory experience: A minimum of 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role is commonly required.
