What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation and quality control
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Monitor project progress and identify and resolve any issues or delays in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, safety standards and company policies
- Manage and supervise a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, budget and any other key metrics
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in a construction management role, preferably within the commercial or residential construction industry
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials and equipment, as well as an understanding of relevant building codes and regulations
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
- Familiarity with project management software and tools, such as scheduling and cost control systems
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
