What is your mission?

We are looking for a skilled US HR Generalist to handle day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement. This role involves managing HR processes, maintaining compliance with labor laws, and supporting employees across multiple functions.

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Serve as the main contact for employee HR, payroll, and benefits inquiries.
  • Handle full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, job postings, interviewing, and job offers.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and prepare termination paperwork.
  • Process payroll and coordinate annual open enrollment, benefits administration, and reporting.
  • Maintain employee files, labor law posters, policies, and the employee handbook.
  • Ensure compliance with EEOC, FEHC, EDD, Workers' Compensation, and other regulations.
  • Respond to unemployment claims and VOE requests.
  • Prepare reports: 1095-C, 1094-C, EEO, AAP, and other HR compliance requirements.
  • Assist with union reporting, workers’ compensation claims, and investigations.
  • Support employee engagement activities such as spirit weeks and holiday parties.
  • Stay updated on HR laws, best practices, and industry standards.
Who are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in HR generalist and benefits administration roles.
  • Experience in end-to-end recruitment and new hire orientation.
  • Payroll processing experience, preferably using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Knowledge of compliance with EEOC, FEHC, EDD, Workers’ Compensation, and related agencies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
