Accounts Receivable Team Lead

About the role

As the Accounts Receivable Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our organisation.

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable team, ensuring efficient and effective processing of invoices, collections, and credit controls
2. Manage and mentor a team of accounts receivable specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
3. Analyse accounts receivable data and generate reports to identify trends, monitor performance, and recommend strategies for improvement
4. Collaborate with the finance and sales teams to streamline invoicing and collections processes
5. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations related to accounts receivable management
6. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the team's productivity and customer satisfaction
7. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide support to other departments on accounts receivable-related matters

1. Minimum 4 years of experience in accounts receivable management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
2. Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, credit management, and cash application
3. Proficient in using accounting software and data analysis tools
4. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and prioritise multiple tasks effectively
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
7. Knowledge of relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations
