Finance Associate - Accounts Receivable

Accounts Receivable Management

Manage and maintain AR balances for stores, delivery platforms (e.g., GrabFood, Foodpanda), and corporate clients.

Update and analyze AR aging regularly.

Proficiency in SAP accounting software is required for AR aging analysis and reporting.

Revenue & Account Reconciliation

Reconcile daily store sales (POS, cash, GCash, bank cards, etc.) with bank deposits.

Experience with POS systems reconciliation is preferred but not required.

Reconcile receivables from online delivery platforms and ensure accuracy of recorded amounts.

Experience with food delivery platforms (GrabFood, Foodpanda) is preferred but not required.

Billing & Collections

Prepare invoices, billings, or official receipts as required.

Follow up on outstanding collections and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely payments.

Month-End Closing Support

Support monthly closing processes related to revenue and AR accounts.

Ensure all AR-related entries are accurate and posted on time.

Data Reporting & Analysis

Prepare weekly/monthly AR reports and variance analysis.

Provide data support and recommendations to the Finance Manager.

Cross-Department Coordination

Work closely with Operations, Commercial, and Store Management teams to resolve revenue discrepancies, short collections, missing deposits, and other issues.

Assist in improving collection workflows based on operational needs.

Other matters assigned by the direct supervisor

Requirements

Minimum at least 2 years of accounts receivable experience is required.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
