Job Description

1. Team Management

• Supervise and lead members of the B&A Group.
• Coordinate team schedules, assign tasks, provide guidance, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Train and mentor subordinates while promoting continuous business process improvement.

1. Coordination with Stakeholders

• Serve as the primary liaison with shipowners and insurance providers (e.g., P&I clubs).
• Ensure smooth communication and effective collaboration with all related parties.

1. Documentation and Reporting

• Review and verify monthly Statements of Account (SOA).
• Monitor vessel budgets and actual performance.
• Oversee company cost control and manage income and expense reporting.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the shipping industry or within a ship management company
• Proven management and leadership experience; prior team management or departmental supervision is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking) is a must.
• Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
