  • Manage and lead growth (marketing, business development, partnership) & business operations (customer experience, collections, shared services)
  • Research the country or region thoroughly and adapting strategies accordingly
  • Fully understand the external competitive landscape coming up with strategies for expansion, growth and driving customer acquisition
  • Develop and execute the company’s business strategies to attain the occupancy, business growth and financial targets with impact to country P&L and global operating plan targets
  • Implement an effective brand strategy and ensure consistency
  • Play an influential role on global strategy, challenges, and opportunities
  • Lead the in-country Leadership team to identify areas of improvement across teams and drive execution
  • Identify business challenges, propose analytically grounded, well-researched solutions, and drive execution
  • Track competition, regulatory changes, and leverage external public relations to ensure Skyro is at the forefront of the fintech ecosystem in country
  • Hire and lead a high functioning team in-country building an enduring and inspiring culture
  • Enhance relationships with existing customers and building new ones
  • Monitor performance at all levels and scheduling training as required
Qualifications/Requirements
  • BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
  • Years of experience as a Country General Manager or similar executive role in a startup tech, marketing, or business leadership experience in high-performing, direct-to-consumer businesses
  • Strong data-driven approach to funnel conversion metrics, campaign performance and P&L management with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with the general fintech landscape
  • Experience working in an international tech startup
  • Thorough knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
  • Proven Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Highly analytical and critical thinker
  • Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
