FULL JOB DECRIPTION:
Gastronova Hospitality Group is currently looking for Sous Chef. Must be willing to be assigned to BGC Taguig City.
JOB OVERVIEW:
As the Sous Chef at Ladurée Philippines, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the brand’s legacy of exquisite French patisserie and culinary excellence. You will support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and creativity in every product.Your leadership will be essential in fostering a productive, motivated team that delivers an unparalleled luxury dining experience to our discerning clientele.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Culinary Preparation & Execution- Prepare and cook savory dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure timely completion of orders while maintaining food quality and consistency.
- Monitor seasoning and portion control to align with brand specifications.
- Conduct regular checks on ingredient freshness and storage conditions.
- Ensure proper sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment before, during, and after shifts.
- Report any deviations or potential hazards to supervisory staff immediately.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume commissary environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a sous chef or in a senior kitchen role
- Culinary degree or relevant professional training preferred
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and passion for high-quality cuisine
WORK LOCATION AND SCHEDULE:
- ·Location: BGC, Taguig City
- Work Schedule: 6 days a week, 9 hours
- Work Setup: Full time and onsite
