Finance Head

Job Summary:

The Finance Head is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial health and ensuring smooth and compliant human resource and administrative operations. This dual-role position requires a detail-oriented and strategic leader who can manage budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Management:

• Oversee daily financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and statements for management and regulatory compliance.
• Manage payroll processing in coordination with HR and external providers.
• Monitor and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting with external accountants or government agencies.
• Manage relationships with banks, vendors, and other financial institutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial role covering finance
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
• Proficient in financial systems, HRIS, and office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.

Preferred:

• CPA is an advantage.
• Experience in a dynamic or startup environment.
