Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and portioning of meals in accordance with prescribed dietary plans and nutritional guidelines
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals to clients, adhering to specific dietary requirements and restrictions
- Set up meal trays, utensils, and food service areas following established standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, workstations, and dining areas at all times
- Wash dishes, utensils, and food preparation equipment in compliance with hygiene protocols
- Monitor food supplies and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor
- Properly store food items and ingredients in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in receiving, checking, and organizing deliveries of food and kitchen supplies
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards to prevent contamination and ensure food quality
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to clients during meal service
- Support the dietary team in special meal preparations and wellness programs as needed
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
- At least high school graduate or vocational course related to food service (preferred)
- With experience in food service, healthcare, or hospitality is an advantage
