About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team at Ottimo Laundry Solutions OPC' in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial accounting and reporting.This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage and oversee the company's general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Coordinate the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
- Ensure the company's accounting policies and procedures are up-to-date and adhered to.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective financial operations
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Contribute to the implementation of new accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and control.
What we're looking for:
- Relevant university degree in Accounting or Finance, with a professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or senior-level accountant, preferably in the service industry.
- Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing accounting teams.
