HR Performance & Labor Relations Specialist

Job Summary:
The HR Performance & Compliance Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining systems and programs that ensure employee performance management aligns with organizational goals, and that HR practices comply with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory standards.This role is key in driving a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:Performance Management:
- Design, implement, and manage performance appraisal systems (e.g., KPIs, OKRs, 360° feedback).
- Guide managers and employees through performance review cycles.
- Analyze performance data and generate reports to support HR strategy and employee development.
- Recommend improvement plans for underperforming employees in coordination with line managers.
- Support learning and development initiatives linked to performance outcomes.
Compliance & Policy Management:
- Ensure HR policies, processes, and practices comply with labor laws and internal regulations.
- Monitor and update employee handbooks and HR policies as needed.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments related to HR compliance.
- Lead or support investigations related to code of conduct violations or disciplinary actions.
- Maintain compliance records and documentation (e.g., contracts, disciplinary reports, trainings).
Training and Communication:
- Deliver training sessions related to performance management, code of conduct, and compliance.
- Communicate HR policy updates and compliance requirements to employees and management.
- Partner with other departments to ensure policies and standards are applied consistently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in performance management and HR compliance.
- Solid knowledge of labor laws, government regulations, and compliance standards.
- Experience with HRIS and performance management systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
