Sales Manager

The General Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth while ensuring exceptional customer service standards aligned with hospitality-level expectations. This role oversees sales operations, team performance, and overall business efficiency, while fostering a customer-first culture similar to hotel and airline service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Service Excellence- Lead and manage the sales and operations team with a strong focus on customer experience and service quality
- Promote a hospitality-driven culture (warm, professional, and client-focused approach)
- Ensure all staff deliver service aligned with hotel/resort-level standards
- Train and coach employees on customer handling, professionalism, and service etiquette
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and client acquisition
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through high-level service and engagement
- Handle VIP clients and ensure premium customer experience
- Oversee preparation and approval of quotations, proposals, and contracts
- Identify opportunities for upselling and long-term partnerships
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
- Ensure all client interactions and service processes meet quality standards
- Monitor service performance and resolve issues promptly
- Implement and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Identify new markets and opportunities for expansion
- Work with marketing to enhance brand positioning and customer reach
- Conduct market research to stay competitive in a service-driven industry
- Ensure achievement of sales targets and revenue goals
- Monitor costs and maintain profitability
- Analyze sales and operational data to improve performance
- Prepare regular performance and financial reports
- Recruit, train, and develop team members with a focus on service excellence
- Build a motivated, customer-focused, and high-performing team
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous coaching
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Oversee documentation, contracts, and operational processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field
- At least 5 years experience in sales, operations, or hospitality management
- Background in hotel, resort, airline, or service-oriented industry is a strong advantage
- Proven experience in customer service excellence and team leadership
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
