- 2 to 4 years of experience in billing administration, accounts receivable, finance operations, or a similar accounting support role
- Excellent data entry skills with strong speed and accuracy
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with precision
- Familiarity with Xero
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong numerical skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage time and tasks efficiently across several care homes
- Ability to address and resolve customer queries with professionalism and accuracy
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving ability
- Positive and professional demeanor in all interactions
- Manage the opening of new customer accounts and reconcile and close accounts at discharge or death
- Research, investigate, and resolve customer queries related to account discrepancies
- Process high volumes of sales invoices accurately and on time
- Conduct detailed customer account reconciliations
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders including care home administrators and managers
- Coordinate with Local Authorities regarding client funding and financial assessments
- Maintain weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
- Check and vet occupancy records to ensure accurate account setup and closure
- Maintain client data using bespoke systems
- Ensure contracts and funding information are complete upon account opening
- Keep the Central Process File updated with accurate records
- Resolve queries promptly to avoid operational delays
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions
- Assist with audits and identify discrepancies in accounts
- Provide ad hoc support as required
