Finance Officer
The Finance Officer is responsible for leading and supporting Merbau Corporation’s financial planning, analysis, and compliance functions. This role requires strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, feasibility studies, project financing, and value‑for‑money analysis to support informed strategic decision‑making.
The Finance Officer will also ensure full compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements of relevant government agencies, including the Department of Energy (DOE), Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), Board of Investments (BOI), and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least five (5) years of experience in Finance, including two to three (2–3) years specializing in financial modeling and valuation analysis, with a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with accounting or ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced work environment.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Ortigas, Pasig City.
