The Finance Officer – Incoming Payments is responsible for accurately recording, reconciling, and monitoring all incoming payments from customers, clients, or other sources. The role ensures stores compliance with internal policies with reagrds to cash management.
Additionally, the officer is responsible for processing the registration and cancellation of stores regulatory permits, ensuring compliance with any government requirements.
- Recording of Incoming Payments: Record customer payments ( cash, online payments, etc.) into the accounting system accurately and on time.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare Daily Cashiers Report
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure stores adherence to financial regulations and internal policies with regards to cash management.
- Petty Cash Management: safekeep and manage the PCF, ensure that all disbursements are within allowable limits and comply with company policies.
- Regulatory compliance: (1) ensure accurate and timely submission of required documentation for tax identification, business permits, and licenses. (2) Ensure proper documentation and clearance from government agencies for store TIN & POS cancellations.
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree as the minimum educational qualification for this Finance Officer position.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for accurate recording and monitoring of incoming payments and financial data.
