Senior Accountant

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Shared Services team, supporting multiple entities across various industries such as trading, services, manufacturing, printing, and government clients. The role is responsible for end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and compliance, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing)
• Prepare and review financial statements and schedules
• Ensure BIR compliance (VAT, EWT, ITR, AFS, and related filings)
• Perform reconciliations (bank, AR/AP, inventory, tax accounts)
• Monitor intercompany transactions and allocations
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Coordinate with different business units and stakeholders
• Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls
• Assist in government-related transactions and documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
• CPA is an advantage but not required
• At least 3–5 years of accounting experience (shared services experience is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and BIR compliance
• Experience in multi-entity accounting is an advantage
• Exposure to government clients is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple deadlines
