Senior Accountant (Compliance)

About the role

Asticom Technology Inc' is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant (Compliance) to join their team. In this contract position based in Makati City, Metro Manila, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's financial compliance and reporting are of the highest standard.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and accounting policies
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and schedules
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, tax requirements, and company policies
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Monitor and maintain general ledger accounts and reconciliations
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and statutory reports
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls
• Support audits and compliance reviews
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and compliance
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and regulatory requirements
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
