Merchandising Assistant
JOB SUMMARY
Assists in the department’s function of monitoring orders and shipments.
Performs various tasks related to merchandising operations.
In charge of processing Stock Issuance Slip (SIS) transactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Updates and inputs incoming shipment/purchase order for upcoming styles or repeat orders.
Prepares receiving instruction and coordinates with warehouse.
Monitors and revises the item card of any changes.
Monitors items for reclassification and inventory adjustment for posting.
Monitors damaged new styles/repeat orders
Prepares various reports on inventory and sales needed for merchandising and Accounting.
Prepares memo for new styles, price changes and seconds.
Processes Stock Transfer Request (STR) for the brand.
In charge of Lobby Sale, Office US samples sale and other special sales.
Assists the Concession Sales Assistants in encoding, replenishment, pull-out and other related tasks.
Prepares memo on 3 day sale, request for rubberstamp.
Processes pull-out for consolidation, confirms PAS.
Prepares regular/sale items offered to Outright customer.
Relieves other Sales Assistants if needed.
Proofreads printed catalogue prepared by graphics artists.
In charge of organizing samples & maintaining the merchandising room.
Maintains the merchandising files and prepares other reports as needed.
Performs other tasks as directed by the Merchandising & Concession Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accountancy and any other related courses
Minimum of 1 year similar work experience gained in a retail/consumer products company.
Technical Skills – adept at MS Office applications
Organized and detail-oriented
Excellent administrative skills and time management skills
Analytical & problem solving skills
