Senior Coordinator, Accounts Payable

Hybrid Set-up | Full-Time | Makati

In this role, you will manage vendor invoices and expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance, proper coding, and timely payments.

You will collaborate with the Accounts Payable team in Tampa and other local offices, assist with audits, resolve inquiries, and train new hires. This position is crucial for enhancing policies and coordinating with various departments to improve operations.

What We’re Looking For

Professional Experience
  • Minimum of 4 solid years of accounts payable experience.
  • Experience in a BPO/Shared Services Organization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with professional services environments is advantageous.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills and Tools
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), with intermediate Excel skills (PivotTables and VLOOKUP).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional determination, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be flexible to work on a Mid/Night Shift, weekend support if necessary and amenable to a hybrid work set-up (3 days onsite per week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

What You'll Be Doing

Accounts Payable Management
  • Ensure vendor invoices and travel & entertainment expenses follow the Grants of Authority approval process and are coded correctly.
  • Perform compliance reviews on travel & entertainment expenses, verifying documentation and approvals.
  • Process bank transfer requests and assist with audit needs by preparing sample data.
  • Resolve routine inquiries regarding account status and communicate discrepancies.
Team Collaboration and Training
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Team in our Tampa Office and other local offices.
  • Assist in training new hires and documenting/improving accounts payable policies and procedures.
  • Help migrate processes from local offices to Manila and allocate received invoices among team members.
