The Roving Sales Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and improving sales performance across assigned store locations. The position serves as the primary link between Sales Personnel Encoders, Store Personnel, and Management to ensure accurate sales reporting, inventory control, and achievement of sales targets.

The Roving Sales Coordinator is expected to regularly visit stores, implement sales improvement strategies, monitor personnel performance, and provide timely updates to management.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Coordination and Monitoring
  • Coordinate weekly sales activities between Sales Personnel and Encoders.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance of assigned stores.
  • Ensure sales targets and company objectives are achieved.
  • Analyze sales trends and recommend strategies to improve sales performance.
  • Verify accuracy of sales reports submitted by store personnel and encoders.
  • Follow up on sales issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Sales Operations and Procedures
  • Ensure compliance with company sales procedures and operational standards.
  • Conduct regular store visits to monitor sales activities and personnel performance.
  • Verify proper product display, merchandising, pricing, and promotional execution.
  • Ensure all sales personnel follow company policies and customer service standards.
  • Implement sales improvement programs and promotional activities.
Sales Personnel Development and Sales Techniques
  • Train and coach Sales Personnel on effective selling techniques.
  • Monitor product knowledge, customer engagement, and sales conversion performance.
  • Evaluate Sales Personnel performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
Inventory Monitoring and Control
  • Conduct regular inventory checks in:
  • Sales Areas
  • Store Warehouse
  • Inventory Storage Areas
  • Verify stock availability and inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor stock movement and identify discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with store personnel regarding stock replenishment requirements.
  • Ensure proper inventory storage procedures are followed.
  • Report inventory shortages, overages, damages, and variances to management.
Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare and maintain updated sales reports.
  • Submit daily sales performance updates to the General Manager and Operations Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of store visits, inventory audits, and sales activities.
  • Generate weekly and monthly sales analysis reports.
  • Monitor and update sales personnel performance records.
Personnel Evaluation and Recommendations
  • Evaluate the performance of sales personnel.
  • Identify personnel requiring coaching, retraining, reassignment, or replacement.
  • Maintain an updated list of sales personnel recommended for replacement or transfer.
  • Submit personnel recommendations to management with supporting performance documentation.
  • Assist management in monitoring staffing requirements for all assigned locations.
Coordination and Communication
  • Maintain effective communication with Store Supervisors, Sales Personnel, Encoders, and Management.
  • Coordinate operational concerns affecting sales and inventory.
  • Escalate issues requiring immediate management attention.
  • Participate in management meetings and provide sales performance updates.
