Customer Care Specialist

A Customer Care Specialist is responsible for assisting customers, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience with a company’s products or services.

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or social media
• Resolve complaints and provide appropriate solutions
• Process orders, returns, refunds, or account updates
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when needed
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Provide product or service information
• Meet performance metrics (response time, resolution rate, customer satisfaction)

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred, often in business, communications, or related fields)

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Active listening and problem-solving abilities
• Patience and empathy when dealing with customers
• Time management and multitasking
• Basic computer and typing skills
• Familiarity with customer service software (e.g., CRM tools)

• Entry-level roles may require little to no experience
• 1–2 years in customer service, retail, or call center is often preferred
