Key Responsibilities
  • Document Preparation: Draft, review, complete, and file legal documents such as demand letters, summons, complaints, AOS (Affidavit of Service), writs, and other documents related to debt collection cases.
  • Case Management, Monitoring & Follow-Ups: Maintain, organize, and monitor case files, including tracking returned and unreturned demand letters (DL), monitoring the status of documents, requests, and cases, conducting timely follow-ups, and ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Court Filings and Hearings: Assist with filing documents with courts, scheduling hearings, and supporting attorneys in preparation for court appearances.
  • Barangay Proceedings: Coordinate and implement barangay hearings, including preparation of required documentation and monitoring compliance and outcomes.
  • Collection Correspondence & Reporting: Prepare and send collection-related correspondence to debtors and creditors, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and send daily status and progress reports.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, collection agents, and internal teams to support ongoing cases and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Compliance: Ensure all collection activities comply with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other relevant laws and regulations.
