About the role
MONOCHEM PLASTICS TRADING is seeking a motivated purchasing/admin assistant to join our dynamic team in our Meycauayan City Bulacan office. This full-time role will be responsible for supporting our purchasing and administrative functions, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our business.
What you'll be doing- Coordinate and process purchase orders for raw materials, supplies, and equipment
- Liaise with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management
- Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and general office duties
- Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as required to support the overall business operations
- 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly adobe photoshop
- A keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset
- A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
