Job description:

The Compensation and Benefits Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing compensation structures and benefit programs to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, government-mandated benefits, and payroll processes.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and HRIS/payroll systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage employee compensation and benefits programs, allowances, and leave entitlements.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and market research to ensure compensation and benefits packages remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Analyze job roles and conduct salary reviews to ensure internal equity and compliance with company pay structure.
  • Prepare compensation reports and benefits analyses for management review.
  • Coordinate with third-party providers for insurance, government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), and other benefit-related services.
  • Handle the processing and updating of government statutory benefits and loans.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of employee benefits and compensation-related data.
  • Support payroll by providing updated employee data on benefits, deductions, and salary adjustments.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to salary, benefits, and other compensation matters.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits.
