Content Writer - Architecture/Construction - ref. p5364023
Structureworks is seeking a skilled and experienced Content Writer to join our growing marketing team in a full-time, remote capacity. This role is ideal for a technically proficient writer with a deep understanding of architectural and construction topics and a passion for crafting content that informs, inspires, and converts.
As a key member of the marketing team, you will write and develop engaging, informative, and technically accurate content for both homeowner and trade audiences, including architects, builders, and developers. You’ll be responsible for representing the voice of the Structureworks brand across a wide range of content types—from blog posts and web articles to white papers, case studies, and promotional materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clear, engaging, and technically sound content tailored to the American architectural and construction industries.
- Develop content that speaks effectively to two key audiences: homeowners and trade professionals.
- Research and synthesize complex product and industry information into accessible written content.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing and SEO Specialist to align content with broader marketing and SEO strategies.
- Create long-form and short-form content including:
- Blog articles and educational posts
- Case studies and white papers
- Product marketing and promotional content
- Website landing pages and brand messaging
- Ensure all content is optimized for SEO and follows best practices in formatting, readability, and keyword integration.
- Stay current with trends and terminology in U.S. architecture, design, and construction to maintain relevance and authority in writing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional writing experience, preferably in the architecture, construction, or building materials industries.
- Strong knowledge of the American construction and design market.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical information into clear, compelling content for both general and professional audiences.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and tools such as SEMrush, SurferSEO, or similar platforms.
- Proven experience writing for digital platforms including websites, blogs, and downloadable content.
- Excellent command of written English with a sharp eye for detail, grammar, and tone.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Architecture, Construction, or a related field is preferred.
