Assistant Marketing Manager (Asia Based)
The Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant Manager who’s experienced across all touchpoints in the digital marketing ecosystem. Most importantly, you’re obsessed with social media and can understand TikTok trends well enough to jump on them in a second.You’ll build strategic monthly content plans based on past performance and data-driven insights, own our entire social presence and influencer relationships, and manage digital marketing campaigns across all our owned channels to turn Strapsicle into a community-driven brand by building real connections with reading communities that matter — BookTok, book lovers, accessibility advocates, and everyone in between.
Your Responsibilities
Campaign Execution: Run our campaigns in real-time across all channels. React to trends, coordinate with creators, capitalize on moments that matter to our community, and manage repeat campaigns (product drops, new colors, etc.) including email, promotional assets, and website copy.
Social Media & Influencer Ownership: Manage TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Reddit, and Facebook. Build and nurture relationships with creators and influencers in the reading space who can amplify our message.
Content Creation: Create static posts, stories, and collaborate with creators on content that feels authentic to Strapsicle.Community Building: Drive genuine engagement across all platforms. Manage our Facebook group and create spaces where readers feel seen and supported.
Data & Iteration: Track what works and what doesn’t across all channels. Analyze performance metrics, understand what resonates with our audience, and continuously iterate strategy based on data insights. Review analytics and dashboards to inform monthly strategy and identify trends that drive engagement and conversions.
Strategic Development: Build monthly social and content strategy focusing on what’s worked in the past. Review historical campaign performance, identify high-performing content themes and formats, and develop a forward-looking strategy that builds on wins and tests new approaches.
What You’ll Bring
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a digital marketing role
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo for email marketing and customer data
- Experience working with creators and influencers
- Strong understanding of all major social platforms and their unique audience dynamics
- Ability to understand and analyze Google Analytics, data dashboards, and marketing metrics
