Service Center Technician

Purpose:

Responsible for maintenance and repair of all Home Tech. products and ensuring its good condition and quality before distribution to the ABOs/ADCs. Will also monitor and control inventory and usage of spare parts and provides customer service by answering ABOs queries in a standard timeframe and other related administrative support.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical Functions & Quality Assurance
2. 1 Installs and tests durable product as purchased by ABOs/consumers.
3. 2 Removes a malfunction durable product for repair services.
4. 3 Conducts investigation on the malfunction durable product and come-up for solutions. Ensures that all issues and concerns regarding the product are collected and consolidated.
5. 4 Repairs a malfunction durable product in a standard timeframe and fulfill repair demand.
6. 5 Checks and ensures that all incoming shipment of products is in good condition and quality. Recommends product distribution to all ADCs.
7. Customer Service
8. 1 Attends to ABOs/consumers inquiries on home tech products – its function, use, and maintenance.
9. 2 Educates ABOs/consumers on the proper use and maintenance of the product.
10. Administrative Support
11. 1 Monitors records and safe keeps tools and equipment for product repair and/or maintenance.
12. 2 Ensures that stock level of tools and equipment are enough to meet the repair demand.
13. Human Relations
14. 1 Ensures sound working relationships with Amway personnel in Ada/region/local market, other Amway affiliated companies, suppliers/vendors, convention centers, competitors, consultants, advertising and public relations agencies, trade/manufacturing associations and the like.
15. 2 Works closely with other technicians assigned in each MAP.
