Accounting Officer

Knockdown Group is on the lookout for a full-time Accounting Officer!

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our Finance & Accounting team. The Accounting Officer will handle tax computations, withholding tax documentation, and compliance across Knockdown Group’s brands, talents, suppliers, and internal manpower—ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to BIR regulations.

Responsibilities:

HIT PH (Talent Management):

• Compute withholding taxes for talents’ Talent Fees (TF)
• Compute withholding taxes for clients’ Commission Expenses (CE)
• Prepare and issue BIR Form 2307 to talents and suppliers

KD Events / Hookd Creative Lab / Blankd Studios:

• Assist in reviewing and maintaining accounts to ensure proper CE computation
• Prepare BIR Form 2307 for production suppliers
• Compute and review withholding taxes for manpower

Internal Manpower & Commissions:

• Prepare tax computations and BIR Form 2307 for internal manpower
• Prepare and issue BIR Form 2307 for CSCs
• Prepare tax computations for Accounts Commissions, ensuring proper withholding

General Accounting & Compliance:

• Maintain accurate tax schedules and supporting working papers
• Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and Accounts teams for correct tax treatment
• Ensure compliance with BIR rules on withholding taxes and documentation
• Support audits, reconciliations, and year-end tax requirements as needed

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – must be a board passer
• Graduate of BS in Accountancy
• At least 1–3 years of accounting or tax experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of BIR forms, withholding taxes, and tax computations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and compliant with deadlines
• Able to work across multiple brands and coordinate with cross-functional teams
