Job Summary:
The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible to supervising various accounting tasks, including financial records keeping, management of books, and reconciliation, tracking the company’s expenses, and ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handles month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and expense reports.
- Preparation and submission of Quarterly and Annual ITRs
- Handles submission of BIR and SEC requirements and documents
- Assists in internal and external audits - providing supporting documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Facilitates renewal of PCAB License and upgrade of PCAB License for the assigned companies
- Create Master Data for the assigned companies in Business Central (ERP)
Qualifications:
- Licensed CPA
- At least 2 years' experience as General Ledger Accountant or Accounting Officer or Accounting Supervisor with background on Financial Statement (FS) Reporting
- Proficient in Accounting Systems, particularly Quickbooks and MS Dynamics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
