Job Description:
We are establishing a new Transformation Team to lead end-to-end accounting and reporting transformation initiatives supporting global operations. The Transformation Manager will oversee strategic finance transformation programs across Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, driving operational excellence, process standardization, and systems optimization.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing transformation initiatives that impact global accounting delivery, shared services operations, and reporting ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
Transformation & Strategic Leadership- Lead end-to-end finance and accounting transformation initiatives across Record-to-Report processes.
- Drive consolidation and optimization of systems, tools (e.g., BlackLine), reporting structures, and accounting policies.
- Challenge legacy practices and implement scalable, future-ready solutions.
- Deliver large-scale finance transformation programs with measurable business impact.
- Oversee transition and transformation activities related to organizational changes and new company structures.
- Ensure consolidated financial and/or regulatory reporting aligned with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls, compliance standards, and financial governance.
- Advise senior leadership on accounting compliance, risk mitigation, and regulatory implications.
- Oversee preparation and submission of financial reports required by executive leadership.
- Direct multiple specialized accounting functions.
- Drive continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Adapt departmental priorities to manage resource and operational challenges.
- Ensure financial reporting accurately reflects business performance.
- Manage and lead a team including transformation leads and functional managers.
- Provide direction aligned with company policies and strategic objectives.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct operational authority.
- Partner with senior leadership, Global Process Leads, HR, and executive management.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in global accounting, shared services, or Global Business Services (GBS) environments.
- Proven track record leading large-scale finance or accounting transformation programs.
- Strong expertise in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and reporting ecosystems.
- Experience in change management and organizational transitions.
- At least 5+ years of leadership experience in a managerial capacity (leading managers and/or transformation teams).
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with ERP systems, reporting tools, and finance automation initiatives.
- Strong commercial mindset with focus on benefits, realization and business impact.
- Ability to design and implement governance frameworks and internal controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience in transformation and finance leadership will be considered.
