Accounting Clerk
About the role
Join the Makati (Sports) Club, Inc. as an Accounting Clerk, where you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of this vibrant organisation. In this full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for a range of accounting and bookkeeping duties to ensure the smooth running of the club's finances.
What you'll be doing- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform data entry and file documentation as required
- Liaise with team members and external stakeholders to resolve any accounting-related queries
- Support the Accounting team in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed
- Demonstrated experience in a similar accounting clerk or bookkeeping role, preferably within the sports or hospitality industry
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial data management
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field would be highly regarded
