Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights that support management in making sound business decisions. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and monitoring of key financial performance indicators to ensure the company’s financial health and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budget or forecast, identifying key drivers and trends.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
• Analyze financial performance, profitability, and cost efficiency of departments or projects.
• Support management in strategic planning, business modeling, and decision-making.
• Monitor and analyze cash flow, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather and validate data needed for financial analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to track KPIs and metrics.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• Fresh graduates with strong analytical background may be considered
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Google Sheets, etc.)
• Knowledgeable in financial statements, accounting principles, and business analysis
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
