JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager, Materials, Assets, and Supplies is responsible for overseeing warehouse activities and ensure proper warehousing and inventory control of assets and materials. He/She is also responsible for maximizing the utilization of warehouse facilities while safekeeping, monitoring, controlling, and protecting the company's inventories, equipment, supplies, and other assets stored in the warehouse.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

MANAGE WAREHOUSE ACTIVITIES

Oversee and manage all warehouse activities to ensure proper warehousing and inventory control of assets and materials.

WAREHOUSE UTILIZATION

Responsible for maximizing the utilization of warehouse facilities to optimize storage space and efficiency.

SAFEKEEPING AND MONITORING

Safeguard, monitor, control, and protect the company's inventories, equipment, supplies, and other inventoriable assets stored in the warehouse.

FIXED ASSETS MANAGEMENT

Oversee all matters related to fixed assets, including tracking existing assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for disposition to ensure accurate financial analysis and reporting.

IMPLEMENT INVENTORY CONTROL SYSTEM

Work in coordination with finance/accounting and IT to implement and manage an inventory control system that identifies discrepancies in inventory counts and takes corrective action.

ACCURACY OF INVENTORY COUNT

Ensure the accuracy of inventory counts by implementing measures to guard against inconsistencies and discrepancies.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Oversee the inventory management process, define appropriate inventory levels, eliminate obsolete and off-specification materials, and reduce long-staying inventory to optimize inventory efficiency.

COLLABORATE WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure effective inventory management, asset control, and overall warehouse operations.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Identify areas for improvement in warehouse operations, inventory control, and asset management processes and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

COMPLIANCE AND REGULATIONS

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies related to warehouse operations, inventory control, and asset management.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Job Experience

Proven managerial experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and asset management.
