Job Summary:We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Collection Associate who will be responsible for the accurate and timely posting of customer payments, validation of official receipts and deposit slips, and reconciliation of accounts. The role ensures proper monitoring of collections and supports the overall efficiency of the Finance Shared Services team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and post customer payments (cash, checks, and withholding taxes) accurately and on time
- Validate payment details against official receipts and deposit slips
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies in coordination with relevant teams
- Maintain and update Accounts Receivable monitoring reports
- Prepare reports on collections, discrepancies, and payments without withholding tax certificates
- Process adjustments related to collections
- Provide support for cashiering functions and petty cash handling when needed
- Ensure proper documentation, records management, and compliance with company policies
- Assist in process improvements within the team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, or related field
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in accounts receivable or collections
- Basic knowledge of accounting processes and the accounting cycle
- Familiarity with SAP or other accounting systems is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
